What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
• ensure meals are properly portioned and presented
• follow recipes, food safety standards, and community guidelines
• assist with food preparation, baking, and special meals
• maintain kitchen, storage, and serving areas
• monitor inventory and report supply needs
• interact respectfully with residents
• accommodate food preferences and special requests
• help set up and clean up special events and themed meals.

Why this role

Previous cooking experience is required; senior living or healthcare experience is a plus. Food handler certification is required or must be obtained upon hire; ServSafe certification is a plus. Schedule is part-time AM/PM, with listed hours of 7 a.m.–6 p.m. and 3 p.m.–6 p.m.
