Metal Operations Manager

The manager leads day-to-day metallurgical production, coordinating operators and technicians with engineering and research teams to produce metals to specification, improve operations, and maintain a strong safety culture.

What you'll do

• Lead, train, and manage technicians and operators
• plan production runs
• oversee startup, steady-state operation, shutdown, and turnaround activities
• allocate people, equipment, and materials
• troubleshoot abnormal operations
• enforce safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout practices
• lead hazard briefings and debriefs
• improve SOPs, work instructions, checklists, training materials, and qualification standards.
