The Quality Medical Technician (QMT) position is onsite at LaPorte County Jail in LaPorte, IN, with a shift from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., one shift per week. The pay range is $23–$27 per hour, based on experience. Quality Correctional Care provides medical and mental healthcare and addiction recovery services to justice-involved patients. The technician supports patient care in the correctional facility by administering medication, obtaining vital signs, assisting with sick call, and responding to emergencies. Accurate charting and communication with facility staff or the on-call medical provider support continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Administer medication

• collect laboratory specimens as needed
• follow the Rules of 100 and specified patient-care procedures
• maintain accurate, up-to-date patient charts.

Why this role
