Assistant Field Operator

The role supports field operators and engineers with equipment setup and operation, maintenance, and safe fieldwork. By learning drilling, sampling, and testing equipment procedures and helping maintain rigs and work areas, the assistant contributes to productive site investigations.

What you'll do

• Assist with setup and operation of drilling equipment, sampling systems, geophysical instruments, and in-situ testing equipment
• train toward company certification on equipment
• help mobilize and demobilize equipment
• perform routine maintenance
• follow safety procedures and report incidents
• communicate equipment needs and field observations
• perform shop functions as needed.
