Job overview

The Estimator — Energy Division role is onsite in Riverton, NJ, with a pay range of $67,308–$87,500 per year. The position supports Sea Box’s Energy Division in evaluating project opportunities, responding to requests for quotation, and determining pricing for energy-related projects, products, and manufacturing solutions. The estimator reviews customer specifications, drawings, scopes, and technical requirements to develop supportable cost estimates. The role works with engineering, sales, operations, quality, purchasing, vendors, and other stakeholders to assess feasibility, costs, risks, and changes while supporting efficient and financially sound solutions.

What you'll do

• Review RFQs, specifications, drawings, scopes, and project documents
• research materials, equipment, technologies, vendors, and solutions
• analyze technical documents to estimate labor, materials, equipment, subcontracted services, and other costs
• consult with customers and internal and external stakeholders
• prepare estimates and supporting documentation
• update estimates for scope or design changes
• support feasibility reviews and cost comparisons
• maintain traceable documentation and communicate assumptions, exclusions, risks, and cost drivers
• identify safety hazards and cost-reduction opportunities
• support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
