What you'll do

• Process requisitions and maintain the accession log
• prepare patients for blood draws
• perform venipunctures and heel or finger sticks
• provide monthly statistics
• order and stock supplies
• after orientation, training, and competency documentation, perform urine dipstick testing and analyze blood samples on automated hematology, coagulation, and routine chemistry instruments
• maintain patient confidentiality and safe equipment use.
