The Senior Database Administrator role is onsite in Englewood, CO. Compensation is $117,562–$137,500 per year. The role supports EchoStar’s technology teams, which develop connectivity products and platforms across satellite television, streaming, wireless, internet, and enterprise services. The administrator maintains enterprise database and application environments, resolves performance and reliability issues, and supports production releases and infrastructure projects. The work helps keep critical systems available, secure, recoverable, and responsive while supporting modernization and cloud initiatives.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and administer Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, Fusion Middleware, and Couchbase
• maintain multi-node Couchbase clusters
• participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation
• troubleshoot database and application performance issues
• support releases, migrations, and cloud transformations
• implement monitoring, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
• automate database operations
• maintain documentation and participate in root cause reviews.
