Construction Site Manager

The Construction Site Manager role is onsite in Aurora, IL, with a stated pay range of $27–$30 per hour. The position provides leadership and field support across Habitat for Humanity construction sites. The role helps ensure safe, consistent, high-quality residential construction by coaching site supervisors and crew leads, coordinating schedules and resources, and supporting site operations. It also works with volunteers, sponsors, partner families, inspectors, and trade partners toward successful project completion and a positive Habitat experience.

What you'll do

• Coach and oversee Site Supervisors and Crew Leads
• deliver training on construction methods, volunteer engagement, leadership, safety, and Habitat standards
• implement construction, quality, code, and safety requirements
• coordinate schedules, contractors, inspections, permits, and resources across sites
• serve as backup to Site Supervisors as needed
• monitor workmanship and safety
• review milestones and inspection readiness
• maintain quality-control procedures
• represent Habitat with community stakeholders
• support partner families and warranty concerns.
