The technical writer turns discovery findings and subject-matter expertise into clear, standardized, maintainable documentation. These materials support cybersecurity, IT operations, incident response, disaster recovery, business continuity, knowledge transfer, and long-term resilience.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain technical documentation using County templates
• create SOPs, procedures, system and infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles
• document incident response, disaster recovery, business continuity, and recovery
• translate technical information and SME interviews into usable documents
• create diagrams and process maps in Visio
• apply versioning and metadata standards
• collaborate with the Business Analyst
• review documents with SMEs and prepare them for approval
• help establish templates, style standards, repository structures, and lifecycle practices.
