What you'll do

• Drive a bus and possibly other vehicles
• check seat belts and car-seat installation and ensure children remain seated
• confirm all children exit after each route
• release children only to authorized people
• follow routes and transportation regulations
• maintain attendance records
• clean vehicles
• maintain emergency and safety equipment
• conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• communicate with staff, parents, and children
• escort children to and from classrooms
• collaborate on safety instruction and evacuation drills.

Why this role
