The System Administrator role is full-time and onsite supporting a government customer in West Mifflin, PA; compensation is not specified. Mayhew Technology Solutions is staffing a new team to provide system administration for equipment and software under the Computer Technology System Support Team (CTSS). The administrator supports system availability and maintenance by diagnosing hardware and software issues, implementing fixes under team and supplier guidance, and providing scheduled patching. The role also assists engineers with procurement, audits, assessment documentation, continuous monitoring, and general system support.

What you'll do

• Diagnose hardware problems and replace components under CTSS and supplier direction
• assist engineers with software and operating-system problem diagnosis
• implement solutions under CTSS, engineer, and supplier guidance
• provide antivirus patching on a maintenance schedule and operating-system debugging and patching with required concurrence and direction
• assist with equipment purchasing, assessment documentation, audits, and continuous monitoring
• help engineers with general system issues, system design questions, and new technology implementations.

Why this role
