What you'll do

• Provide compassionate care to patients and clients
• communicate with clients, doctors, and team members
• answer and route phone inquiries
• assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
• safely restrain animals using low-stress techniques
• administer medications, prepare vaccines, collect samples, and perform basic lab tests as directed
• enter treatment plans and maintain medical records
• educate clients about vaccinations, medications, and treatment protocols
• enter charges and assist with checkout
• keep exam rooms and hospital areas clean and stocked.
