What you'll do

• Follow shop safety and quality procedures
• interpret drawings and specifications to sequence fabrication
• tack carbon-steel or stainless-steel components using MIG and flux-core processes
• fit nozzles, couplings, and vessel internals
• lay out and cut baffle plates and openings
• check other welders’ fit-ups
• use cutting, grinding, and fitting tools
• work productively with others
• perform other duties assigned by the Foreman.
