Teen Outreach Program Facilitator

The Teen Outreach Program Facilitator role is onsite in Washington, DC, with compensation of $25 per hour. The position includes daily travel to school sites and occasional evening and weekend availability. Sasha Bruce Youthwork supports young people and families through youth development programs. The facilitator implements the Teen Outreach Program curriculum for 6th–12th-grade youth, helping teens develop social-emotional skills, healthy relationships, and community connections. Weekly clubs, service-learning activities, and supportive adult relationships contribute to positive youth development.

What you'll do

• Implement weekly TOP clubs with fidelity to the program model
• recruit participants with school personnel, parents, and community members
• develop recruitment strategies and follow up to support retention
• plan weekly clubs aligned with school missions, curriculum, and service learning
• complete deliverables and maintain service, enrollment, attendance, and service records
• maintain partnerships with stakeholders and sites
• collaborate on school-wide engagement and quality improvement
• maintain safe and supportive relationships with teens
• plan and participate in student, parent, and community events
• assist with enrollment marketing materials
• attend staff development, training, and meetings.
