Journeyman Cyber Operations Planner

The Journeyman Cyber Operations Planner role is onsite in Fort Meade, MD, with a stated salary range of $90,000–$120,000 per year. The role provides on-site contract support to USCYBERCOM J3, the Cyber National Mission Force, and Joint Task Force-Ares. The planner supports Department of Defense joint planning processes that underpin USCYBERCOM operations. The role develops and coordinates cyber operational plans, integrates capabilities and intelligence planning, and transitions planning efforts to current operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and staff cyber operations plans
• synchronize offensive cyberspace operational plans
• support targeting selection and validation
• draft operational plans, orders, and fragmentary orders
• support joint planning groups and teams
• develop concepts of support and courses of action
• provide situational awareness to projects and current operations
• assess partner capabilities and tools
• review and prioritize operational requirements
• integrate intelligence planning
• conduct long-range strategic planning
• communicate planning information.
