Child and Adolescent Therapist - Washington This is a full-time, onsite position in Claysville, PA. Compensation is not specified. New Directions Mental Health is committed to improving access to mental health care in our communities. The purpose of this role is to provide specialized mental health services to children and adolescents, supporting their development and well-being through tailored therapy and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on the unique needs and circumstances of each client
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans
• Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.

What we're looking for

Education

Master's Degree

Experience

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field. Experience in working with children and families. Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
