The Tool Maker - 2nd Shift role is onsite at the Auburn Hills, MI plant. Compensation is $27–$31 per hour. Ideal Tridon makes clamps, strut, hose supports, conduit, fittings, and coupling solutions for critical applications. The tool maker repairs, designs, and fixes tooling and machines to support safe, reliable production. The role uses blueprints and schematics, performs maintenance and troubleshooting, and checks tools and parts against safety and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Repair, design, and fix tooling and machines
• troubleshoot and provide technical recommendations
• read blueprints and schematics
• perform preventive maintenance and production reporting
• set up machine tools
• shape, fit, and assemble tool and die parts
• inspect and test completed tools and dies
• follow operating and safety procedures.

Why this role
