What you'll do
- Evaluates and treats all diagnoses and more complex patients
- Conducts thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans
- Administers therapeutic exercises and other occupational therapy interventions
- Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques
- Collaborates with others in developing and implementing discharge plans
- Monitors and documents patients' progress
- Collaborates on teams from different departments
- Assists with orientation and training of new staff.
