What you'll do

• Evaluates and treats all diagnoses and more complex patients
• Conducts thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans
• Administers therapeutic exercises and other occupational therapy interventions
• Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques
• Collaborates with others in developing and implementing discharge plans
• Monitors and documents patients' progress
• Collaborates on teams from different departments
• Assists with orientation and training of new staff.
