The role also supports client proposals and contracts and mentors junior engineers.

What you'll do

• Review bridge-design contract documents, calculations, plans, and specifications
• coordinate plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items to NCDOT standards
• prepare and review bridge load-rating reports
• plan and perform bridge and tunnel inspections
• prepare and review inspection reports
• lead designers and inspectors
• oversee assigned calculations and plans and independent quality reviews
• assist with statements of qualifications, proposals, and contracts
• mentor junior engineers.
