The Quality Control Analytical Scientist – 3rd Shift Group Leader is an onsite role in Albany, NY, paying $38–$55 per hour. Eurofins provides analytical testing services to help clients ensure products are safe, authentic, and accurately labeled; this role supports pharmaceutical quality-control testing. The group leader conducts and reviews GMP testing while leading a team of chemists. The role supports reliable pharmaceutical testing, investigations, method transfer, and laboratory quality and efficiency through technical work, team development, and client and internal coordination.

What you'll do

• Conduct and review testing under approved methods, specifications, protocols, and compendial requirements
• follow GMP regulations and applicable ICH guidelines
• test pharmaceutical samples
• participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies
• support OOS, OOT, and invalid-result investigations
• use analytical techniques including NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, conductivity, specific rotation, titration, and TGA
• manage reference standards
• lead and develop chemists
• support client and internal teams, onboarding, and laboratory quality and efficiency.

Why this role

Permanent full-time role with overtime as needed. Work hours are 10:00 PM–8:30 AM, with schedules Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday. Requires relevant degree and GMP/GLP testing experience, LC, conductivity, and titration experience, and at least one year of leadership experience.
