The Medical Assistant - Primary Care role is onsite in Brighton, MA, with travel to the Waltham site as needed. Pay is $21–$27 per hour. The medical assistant supports clinical care and department operations by collecting patient information, assisting providers, performing tests, managing patient flow, and completing administrative tasks. The role contributes to timely, coordinated primary care for patients and families.

What you'll do

• Coordinate patient flow
• escort patients and record histories and vital signs
• perform electrocardiograms and point-of-care tests
• collect and prepare specimens
• assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• prepare and document vaccines as directed
• handle calls and appointments
• prepare instruments and maintain supplies.

Why this role

Recent graduates of accredited medical assistant programs will be considered. Current medical assistant certification and BLS or CPR certification are required; evening and Saturday work may be needed.
