What you'll do

• Serve as primary instructor for students with identified learning needs
• develop lessons addressing academic, interpersonal, social, and emotional needs
• provide research-based instruction aligned with IEP goals
• develop and implement annual IEP plans
• collaborate with IEP teams
• monitor student progress
• maintain records
• support classroom routines and behavior
• communicate with families
• complete special-education compliance tasks
• supervise paraprofessionals, volunteers, and student teachers as assigned.
