School-Based Counselor

The School-Based Counselor position is primarily onsite in Lake City, FL, with some telehealth and other meeting visits potentially required; compensation is $20–$25 per hour. The role includes training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and weekly clinical supervision.

What you'll do

• Schedule initial evaluations and subsequent sessions
• screen and evaluate referred youth
• provide mental health or substance-use therapy based on individualized risks, needs, and strengths
• complete electronic health record notes, summaries, treatment plans, reviews, and discharge plans
• begin individual, family, or group therapy within 14 business days after evaluation
• document each counseling service
• attend weekly supervision and acquire TF-CBT training certification.
