What you'll do
- Evaluate and develop healthcare learning and development programs
- maintain clinical orientation programs for new staff
- work with nursing directors and administrators to identify skill and knowledge gaps
- support nursing policies and procedures
- maintain nurse aide training instructor qualifications
- conduct CNA classes at least quarterly or as needed
- participate in nursing meetings and the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Committee
- coordinate mandatory education and annual in-service training
- coordinate student clinical rotations where applicable
- develop training assessments and calendars
- support workplace safety programs
- maintain training materials, records, and learning system data
- facilitate CBRF classes
- coordinate resident, family, and community health education.
