What you'll do
- Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized
- assist with hygiene, restroom use, grooming, and other daily needs
- monitor vital signs, EKG signals, and patient condition
- assist nursing staff with basic treatments
- maintain patient-care supplies and clean linen
- provide emotional support
- place patients on cardiac monitors
- empty drains, ostomies, and Foley bags
- perform blood sugar checks.
