Job overview

The Resident Construction Manager works full time onsite on sanitary sewer pumping station projects in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The posting gives an expected annual compensation range of $105,000–$125,000. Whitman, Requardt & Associates designs infrastructure and buildings. The role provides daily construction management and inspection for new, rehabilitated, or upgraded pumping station facilities. It monitors contractor work against contract documents, coordinates inspection and testing, tracks progress and deficiencies, and keeps the owner, engineer, and operations personnel informed during construction.

  • Manage construction onsite and supervise inspection personnel
  • document daily inspections and review reports
  • prepare weekly status reports
  • coordinate materials testing and maintain logs
  • review contractor pay estimates
  • prepare sketches and project-change data
  • maintain diaries and report deficiencies
  • communicate field conditions and changes to the engineer, owner, operations personnel, and project team.
