What you'll do

• Lead the Microbiology Laboratory while performing daily testing
• prepare samples, operate equipment, analyze results, and troubleshoot
• improve testing methods and procedures
• train laboratory personnel
• ensure compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP, GLP, GDP, and company procedures
• communicate failing or OOS results and support investigations and corrective actions
• monitor trends
• manage third-party labs, budgets, equipment maintenance, and calibration
• evaluate equipment and support qualification
• partner with Quality, Production, and R&D.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, or a related field and at least five years of progressive microbiological testing experience. Personal care, OTC, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is preferred.
