What you'll do

• Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans
• administer and record prescribed medications
• report adverse reactions
• educate patients on surgical procedures
• record medical information and vital signs
• monitor specialized equipment and electronic displays
• initiate corrective action for adverse symptoms
• provide bedside care, including pre- and post-surgery care
• change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs, participate in discharge planning, and document care accurately and promptly.
