Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) works onsite in Powell, TN, for $15.50–$17.50 per hour. The role supports Open Arms Care’s work helping children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent, fulfilling lives. Every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, is required; orientation training is scheduled on first shift, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The DSP provides hands-on assistance with personal care and daily activities while encouraging independence and life skills. The role also includes advocacy, transportation to appointments and community activities, progress documentation, and coordination with the support team to maintain a safe and welcoming home environment.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and daily living activities

Why this role
