What you'll do

• Greet and check in patients
• use practice management software for scheduling, billing, and collections
• obtain and enter patient information into electronic medical records and practice management systems
• verify demographic and insurance information
• assist medical and clinic staff with urgent patient needs
• explain payment policies and expedite patient rooming
• collect copays, deductibles, and payments according to policy
• schedule patients according to guidelines
• answer phones promptly and courteously
• perform other duties detailed in the job description.
