What you'll do

• Drive a ten-wheel front-end loaded garbage truck on assigned routes
• empty dumpsters and transport refuse to the landfill
• secure and weigh loads and record refuse weights
• report damaged containers or poorly maintained sites
• follow traffic and safety procedures
• inspect, refuel, and perform light maintenance on equipment
• clean the truck
• maintain refuse containers
• respond to customer questions and complaints
• complete required forms and reports
• serve as a relief driver on other routes when needed.
