This position supports the Vital Medical Transport team by delivering advanced emergency and non-emergency care. This role exists to build Chattanooga's most trusted and respected Paramedic team. The paramedic is responsible for performing ALS assessments, administering medications, interpreting EKGs, and providing patient care throughout transport to ensure high-quality medical services.
What you'll do
- Respond to emergency and interfacility calls.
- Perform ALS assessments and interventions.
- Administer medications per Standing Orders.
- Read and interpret EKGs.
- Operate advanced EMS equipment.
- Provide patient care throughout transport.
- Lift, transfer, and move patients safely.
- Complete accurate Patient Care Reports.
- Clean, restock, and maintain equipment.
- Safely operate an ambulance.
