The supervisor supports Xcel Energy’s Project Controls organization and capital project teams as the company works to provide reliable, resilient, and sustainable energy. The role leads regional project controls staff while managing an active portfolio of project scheduling and controls work. It helps ensure consistent project controls practices, reliable schedules and cost reporting, and progress toward business-area goals and KPIs.

What you'll do

• Develop capital project schedules and validate scope and schedule structure with project teams
• define critical paths
• provide cost tracking and reporting
• manage work orders in the corporate ERP platform
• maintain project controls tools, policies, and procedures
• supervise regional project control specialists
• coordinate with area managers and capital project teams on scope, schedule, and cost issues
• support business initiatives and KPIs.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or related field, or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree; five years of project management or project controls experience; and proficiency with Primavera scheduling tools.
