Job overview

The Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist role is an onsite, part-time position in New York, NY, with pay of $20–$24 per hour. The schedule is up to 28 hours weekly, Monday through Friday between 6:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., plus every other weekend from 6:45 a.m. to noon and a holiday rotation. The role supports RMA of New York, part of US Fertility’s physician-led fertility practice network. The position supports fertility patient care through phlebotomy, specimen handling, clinical room preparation, and administrative tasks. Accurate records, lab orders, and patient coordination help the clinical team deliver organized care and support the patient experience.

What you'll do

  • Perform phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions
  • stock blood-drawing stations and route specimens to appropriate labs
  • document care in logs, electronic medical records, and lab forms
  • enter lab orders and print labels
  • check patients in and out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments
  • prepare rooms, take vital signs, assist with procedures as needed, and maintain rooms and equipment.
