Campus Safety and Security Officer III — First Shift

The Campus Safety and Security Officer III — First Shift position is onsite in Concord, NH; compensation is not specified. The officer supports campus safety at NHTI Concord’s Community College and reports to the Director of Safety & Security. The role protects the college community through patrols, building security, incident response, enforcement of college rules and applicable laws, and assistance to students, staff, faculty, and visitors. It also supports campus operations through alarm response, safety records, parking enforcement, and Clery Act compliance.

What you'll do

• Patrol campus and nearby off-campus areas
• secure buildings and facilitate traffic flow
• enforce college policies, laws, and parking regulations
• investigate criminal activity in cooperation with outside law enforcement when applicable
• respond to routine and emergency calls and alarms
• assist with snow-removal lot evacuations
• prepare daily logs and incident reports
• track keys, lock and unlock buildings, distribute ID cards, and provide information to the campus community.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of qualifying law-enforcement or security experience (with education substitution allowed), a valid driver’s license, current CPR/AED and basic first aid certification, and age 21. NIMS certification is desired; the position is designated essential personnel and requires schedule flexibility for special or emergency events.
