Senior Staff Software Engineer – Cloud Availability Platform

The Senior Staff Software Engineer – Cloud Availability Platform role is onsite in Sunnyvale, California. Compensation is $250,000–$300,000 per year, plus bonus; restricted stock units are included in offers. The role supports Crusoe’s cloud platform and its mission to build reliable, energy-efficient AI infrastructure. The engineer designs and builds a self-serve control plane for a large AI infrastructure fleet, including platform services, APIs, SDKs, agents, and automation. The platform enables fleet, SRE, and product teams to operate infrastructure through reusable services and workflows rather than recurring manual intervention.

What you'll do

• Build core platform services including RBAC, tenancy, workflow and policy engines, and state reconciliation
• design API gateway, resource models, and versioned contracts
• build SDKs, workflow templates, developer portal, and micro frontend framework
• develop inventory and topology graph and data pipelines
• build site, GPU, and network agents and event bus
• deliver platform roadmap milestones
• collaborate with embedded fleet and production engineers.
