The Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Technician is an onsite role based in Westminster, MD. Compensation is $17.40 to $30.09 per year, based on experience. This position supports the Surgical Services department at Carroll Hospital, part of the LifeBridge Health system. This role is responsible for the decontamination, preparation, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. By maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring that surgical teams have the necessary tools, the technician plays a critical role in patient safety and surgical outcomes.

What you'll do

• Operates washers and sterilizers
• decontaminates instrumentation
• prepares and packs surgical instruments
• assembles surgical case carts
• manages department workflow
• distributes supplies when covering the storeroom.
