The work contributes to livestock welfare and the feedyard team’s overall effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Recognize sick cattle and assist with illness diagnosis
• administer prescribed treatments and medications
• handle medications and medical supplies properly
• record mortality, pen and ear-tag information, and other animal health data
• maintain equipment, facilities, and sick-pen water troughs
• follow Beef Quality Assurance, humane handling, sanitation, and safety practices.
