Water and Wastewater Estimator

Compensation is $0 per year. The Water and Wastewater Estimator role is onsite in Cleveland, OH; The role supports B&B Concrete’s pursuit and planning of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The estimator develops competitive project estimates and evaluates scope, constructability, risk, and cost. By partnering with operations and project management from bid through handoff, the role helps prepare projects for successful execution.

What you'll do

• Develop estimates for treatment facilities, pump stations, process piping, and related infrastructure
• perform quantity takeoffs and price self-performed labor, materials, and equipment
• evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
• assess phasing, logistics, constructability, and sequencing
• develop preliminary schedules
• identify risks and cost-saving opportunities
• participate in bid reviews
• prepare budgets and lead estimating-to-project handoffs
• support buyout after award.

Why this role

Water or wastewater construction estimating experience and experience with self-performed structural concrete or heavy civil construction are sought. HCSS, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff experience is preferred.
