Restaurant Cashier

What you'll do

• Welcome guests according to restaurant hospitality procedures
• take orders and suggestively sell or upsell
• process cash, charge, and check transactions and provide receipts
• assist guests
• answer and direct telephone calls and take messages
• maintain register-area paper supplies
• attend meetings and training as requested
• train new cashiers on approved procedures
• balance the cash drawer and secure cash and transaction records
• report discrepancies
• maintain front-of-house cleanliness.
