Senior Buyer/Planner

Job overview

The Senior Buyer/Planner role is onsite in Woodstock, IL, with compensation of $75,000–$85,000 per year. The work supports production of critical sterile pharmaceutical products in a regulated aseptic manufacturing environment. The role owns sourcing, procurement, and material planning to keep production supplied, manage supplier performance and risk, and protect schedule adherence and product quality. It partners with Master Scheduling, Operations, Quality, and Finance on planning, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Source and procure raw materials, pharmaceutical-grade resins, components, and packaging
• negotiate with suppliers
• qualify alternate suppliers
• align material availability with the master production schedule
• manage purchase orders, ERP planning parameters, inventory, open orders, and supply risks
• support supplier qualification, change control, lot traceability, GMP compliance, S&OP/SIOP, and continuous improvement.
