Job overview

The Specimen Collector role is onsite in Goshen, IN, part time, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pay is $18.50–$21.50 per hour. Ethos Laboratories provides clinical diagnostic testing and laboratory services that support healthcare providers and patient outcomes. The collector obtains and documents patient specimens according to established protocols, preserving specimen integrity for laboratory testing. The role also supports clinic workflows through requisition completion, specimen preparation, and accurate information entry.

What you'll do

• Collect urine and oral fluid specimens
• perform anterior nasal swabs for COVID-19 testing when required by clinic accounts
• perform venipuncture when applicable to assigned locations
• follow patient identification and collection protocols
• maintain specimen integrity
• complete and verify requisitions
• label and package specimens
• document collection details
• enter patient information into LIS or EMR when required
• coordinate with clinic staff
• maintain a clean, safe, compliant work environment
• represent Ethos professionally.

Why this role
