Field Calibration Technician

Job overview

The Field Calibration Technician role is based onsite in Clayton, OH, with calibration work at customer facilities and approximately 20% overnight travel; pay is $24–$29 per hour. Instrument Calibration Solutions provides calibration and repair services for electrical, mechanical, optical, and process-control instruments. The technician calibrates, diagnoses, modifies, and repairs measurement equipment, while documenting work and meeting customer and quality requirements. The role also coordinates with customers and operational staff to complete service within promised turnaround times.

What you'll do

• Calibrate optical comparators, vision systems, hardness testers, and other measurement equipment
• diagnose and repair equipment
• communicate with customers about calibration needs
• develop procedures and measurement systems
• complete reports
• verify standards are in calibration
• coordinate equipment status and turnaround
• assist with technician training and laboratory support.
