Commercial Electrical Project Manager

Job overview

The Commercial Electrical Project Manager role is primarily onsite in Ocala, Florida, with regular jobsite visits. Base salary is $125,000–$140,000 per year, with performance-based project bonus opportunities and an additional year-end/Christmas bonus. The role supports a growing commercial division at an established Central Florida electrical contractor.

What you'll do

• Own commercial electrical projects from estimator turnover through closeout
• participate in turnover and strategy meetings
• develop buyout packages and purchasing recommendations
• work with Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews
• visit active jobsites
• manage multiple projects
• maintain schedules and plan manpower
• manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and documentation
• coordinate lighting controls and equipment
• monitor budgets, costs, manpower hours, WIP, billing, and financial performance
• lead project meetings and communicate with project stakeholders
• track electrical code changes and develop solutions to keep projects moving.
