What you'll do

• Oversee receiving, inspecting, stocking, ordering, and merchandising produce
• monitor inventory, stock rotation, and waste
• train, schedule, and supervise staff
• respond to customer questions and complaints
• ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance, including HACCP and FDA standards
• develop sales strategies and promotional displays
• maintain produce quality and presentation
• manage the department budget and labor costs
• coordinate with store management and other departments.
