The Production Employee — Food Processing role is onsite in Burgaw, NC. Compensation is $12–$16 per hour as listed. The role supports Cardinal Foods’ production and processing of sweet potatoes for shipment.

What you'll do

• Sort, inspect, wash, grade, trim, peel, cut, or otherwise process sweet potatoes
• operate production and packaging equipment after training
• monitor product quality and packaging
• load and unload materials
• package and label finished products
• maintain a clean work area
• follow food-safety, sanitation, quality, and workplace-safety procedures
• meet production standards
• remove defective product
• assist with equipment cleaning
• and report issues to a supervisor.
