Registered Nurse (RN) – Health Educator, Part-Time

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Health Educator, Part-Time role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, and pays $40–$44 per hour. Northstar Behavioral Health Network serves people with opioid and stimulant use disorders and provides intensive residential treatment services. The RN Health Educator supports nursing services and staff and client education, including orientation and medication-administration training. The role also contributes to admissions, discharges, care-plan coordination, and nursing coverage as needed under nursing and medical leadership.

What you'll do

• Ensure nursing services are delivered and documented, including admissions, discharges, outside clinic visits, and medical changes
• develop health education curricula for staff and clients with the Director of Nursing
• coordinate group scheduling with treatment leadership
• identify outside education resources
• coordinate intakes and holistic care plans with the Nurse Manager
• work as a floor nurse 25% of the time and as needed.
