Field Construction Coordinator — Electric Utilities

The Field Construction Coordinator role is an onsite position in Auburn, NY. Compensation is $40–$46 per hour. K&A Power Group provides engineering, construction management, and related services for power utility and industrial clients. The coordinator monitors field construction work, schedules, safety, quality, materials, and documentation. The role helps project managers and contractors resolve issues and keep utility construction projects aligned with specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Provide field support and report project progress
• monitor schedules and look-ahead plans
• attend contractor safety, environmental, and quality meetings
• maintain project binders and as-built plans
• review contractor invoices and schedules
• conduct progress meetings
• observe onsite work
• coordinate material deliveries and inspect materials
• inspect workmanship
• help resolve construction issues
• review change requests and claims
• communicate with project managers
• promote safety and regulatory compliance.
