Calibration Technician — Level 2

Job overview

The Calibration Technician — Level 2 role is based in Pleasanton, CA, with work at customer locations and in the Pleasanton calibration laboratory. Pay is $27–$35 per hour. Trescal provides calibration, repair, and asset services to customers. The technician calibrates and repairs specialized test and measurement instruments, verifies technical records, and works with customers to address equipment, traceability, and procedure needs. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

What you'll do

• Calibrate instruments at customer sites and in the laboratory
• troubleshoot and repair equipment
• discuss traceability, standards, procedures, and repair needs with customers
• maintain laboratory equipment
• inspect incoming equipment and update its status
• create and verify calibration data sheets
• follow company policies and procedures.
