Vice President of AI Engineering

This hands-on engineering leader builds and ships the product while leading a small engineering team. The work connects product development, AI evaluation, user research, and partner needs to deliver safe, useful experiences that help learners and job seekers complete real next steps.

What you'll do

• Build mobile-first AI experiences
• use and coach the team on coding agents
• define agentic development practices and evaluation
• connect analytics, testing, research, and outcomes to release decisions
• create reusable product patterns
• own architecture, data integrity, testing, observability, performance, cloud cost, and release quality
• architect identity and access
• represent technical work with funders and state agency partners.
